Clarifi Certified Public Accountants, founded in September 2020, brings together the expertise of four passionate CPAs. Recognizing the challenges faced by individuals, freelancers, and small businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic, the group was inspired to establish a firm that goes beyond the conventional. Clarifi Certified Public Accountants emerged as a solution – a high-quality and affordable CPA firm dedicated to assisting these often overlooked stakeholders, who represent the backbone of our economy. Sheka
Sheka is a licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey with over 10 years experience in public accounting and Fortune 500 companies in the life sciences industry. With a diverse experience spanning across multiple regions, Sheka has been able to help Fortune 500 companies analyze and mitigate risks from a financial, regulatory and operational standpoint.
Sheka graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor's and Master's in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He also obtained a Strategic Management certification from the Harvard Extension School and is also a published author. In his free time, Sheka enjoys playing soccer and volunteering for causes supporting devloping nations.
Chris
Chris is a CPA with over 10 years of experience in public accounting and private industry. With a track record of transforming challenges into opportunities, Chris specializes in delivering data-driven insights and implementing strategic changes for clients. His expertise spans diverse industries, including biopharmaceuticals and medical technology. Chris is committed to elevating financial processes, ensuring client success, and contributing to a resilient financial future.
Chris graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. Outside of work, he enjoys playing and watching sports, primarily supporting the New York Jets and New York Knicks.
Steve
Steve is a CPA with 10+ years of industry experience. His passion lies in crafting strategic tax plans and forecasts, maximizing efficiency and minimizing burdens. He worked in public accounting with a focus on family-owned business. His experience includes year-end tax projections, tax returns, financial statements, and tax correspondence for clients in various industries including real estate, professional services, and high net worth individuals.
Steve graduated from the University of Rochester with a BS in neuroscience and a BA in economics. He continued his education at Monmouth University to receive an MBA with a concentration in accounting where he finished at the top of his class. He brings both deep technical knowledge and a holistic view to your financial well-being.
Issa
Issa is a licensed CPA in the state of Maryland with over 7 years of experience in public accounting and life sciences industry. His experience includes external and internal audit, financial statement preparation and reviews, SOX compliance and tax preparation.
Issa graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor's in Accounting from Stevenson University in Maryland. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). His passions include traveling and tutoring in underprivileged communities.
